The Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations held a hearing entitled “The Role of the Board of Directors In Enron’s Collapse.”  The Subcommittee called on past and present members of the Enron Board of Directors to obtain an insider’s perspective on the Board’s oversight efforts, interactions with Enron management and Andersen, and failure to identify and respond adequately to warning signs of Enron’s impending collapse.
