Letter to Chuck Hagel, Secretary of Defense, Regarding Staged “Arrival” Ceremonies for Recovered Remains of Missing Service Members

Today, Chairman McCaskill sent a letter to the Secretary of Defense requesting information about the “arrival” ceremonies staged by the Joint Prisoner of War/Missing in Action Accounting Command (JPAC), including the dates of each ceremony, the actual dates the remains arrived at JPAC, communications sent by the Defense Department regarding the ceremonies, and the cost of the ceremonies.
