WASHINGTON – Sen. Tom Carper (D-Del.), ranking member of the Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee, released the following statement regarding the November 13 terrorist attacks in Paris, France:
“My thoughts and prayers are with the victims of these horrific attacks, their loved ones, the city of Paris, and the people of France. I am carefully monitoring this situation and will continue to do so as we gather more information from our partners overseas. France is our nation’s oldest ally, and we continue to stand together during this dark hour. No amount of violence and hatred is a match for our unity or the freedoms and liberties both of our nations cherish.”
