WASHINGTON — U.S. Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.), chairman of the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee, issued the following statement Wednesday on FEMA Administrator Brock Long’s announced resignation:
“Within days of Brock becoming FEMA Administrator, our nation experienced an unprecedented wave of natural disasters in the form of devastating hurricanes and wildfires. Brock performed admirably during these crises, leading FEMA to respond effectively and with true compassion. I am grateful for Brock’s service to America, and wish him well in the future.”
